Presenting never before seen works on paper and custom hand drawn clothing and merchandise, the show seeks to bring awareness to this incredible artist who was on the cusp of worldwide infamy.

Opening over Notting Hill Carnival weekend R.I.P Memorial for NASTYDOGG will also feature a t-shirt customization workshop on Sunday 25th August from 12-6pm and a BBQ cookout DOGGSTYLE on Sunday 26th from 4-9pm.

“You see the ‘Doggystyle’ writing, that’s my font.”

“I didn’t think it would be iconic, man, And then when it sold as many as it sold and I seen my sh*t up there, it just gave me like, ‘Damn. I can’t believe it. My artwork is out there.'”

Darryl "Joe Cool" Daniel was an artist from Long Beach, CA. His artwork has graced the covers of millions of records sold worldwide, starting with the cover of his cousin Snoop Dogg’s smash success, ‘DoggyStyle’. In the pantheon of hip-hop’s visual history, Joe Cool’s artwork is iconic, and his unique illustrations hark back to a time before commonplace computer graphics.

Cool partnered with many global brands and retailers to create memorable original designs including ADIDAS, 7-11 and Supreme Clothing to name a few whilst also traveling the world touring with Snoop Dogg. He performed onstage in over 30 countries and 48 states as "The Nasty Dogg" as well as dozens of broadcast television shows and events. Throughout Cool’s life he dealt with addiction issues and in his later life worked with several recovery and non-profit art therapy organizations.
